Visionary Artist Carol Daigneault's abstract mixed media paintings are the product of decades spent developing her intuitive and energetic understanding, notably through active practice and as a certified Feng Shui practitioner. Her work is deeply informed by individual reflection, group meditations, and energy studies. Each piece incorporates layers of automatic writing, sacred geometry, and healing symbols to visually articulate the multi-dimensional and energetic patterns she is trained to sense.

When I first began to meditate my aim was to empty my mind. Over time, I found that the emptiness opened a door to insight and understanding I could not likely receive in my normal, waking life. The silence became a trusted, enriching friend offering endless support and possibilities.

This painting explores the fleeting shimmer of insight—the specks of light, intuitive glances, and subtle energies that reveal the essence of a situation. Whether gazing into water or inward toward the soul, the painting follows the moment when appearances dissolve and the true energetic blueprint begins to surface. Colors shift, spark, and emerge, offering clues to what lies beneath.
This piece is a deliberate experiment in layering as a means of discovery. Multiple strata of paint, pastel, resist techniques, and stencil work accumulate and recede, each contributing finer and finer details of the whole. The surface becomes a microcosm of the macrocosm: a field where depth, luminosity, and emotion intermingle in an ongoing effort to dissect, understand, and illuminate.
