Interstellar

$495.00

28 1/2” x 21 1/4”

Acrylic and mixed media on paper

Interstellar object 3I Atlas got a lot of attention during the second half of 2025, and this painting is in honor of this unusual and profound occurrence.

This painting began as a vivid image that arrived upon waking. I immediately recorded the vision and its details, many of which are intentionally woven into the final composition. Guided by those original notes, the work unfolded intuitively, allowing the piece to reveal itself layer by layer.

While references to interstellar object 3I Atlas often carry a sense of spectacle, this painting was not created through research, but through perception. Only after it’s completion did I encounter information describing the chemical process responsible for its eventual transformation to a golden glow—an unexpected resonance that echoed the palette and energy already present in the work.

Created as a work on paper, the piece invites contemplation of transformation, inner imagery, and the subtle dialogue between intuition and discovery.
