Into the Depths #4 explores what can be discovered through the process of building up and stripping back. Layers of color, pattern, and marks are repeatedly added, obscured, and revealed, allowing unexpected relationships to surface. A unifying final layer brings the many fragments together, creating a sense of depth and cohesion while preserving glimpses of the painting’s history as the eye is invited to wander and discover.
