The Patterns of Being series explores the repeating structures that shape both the visible and unseen dimensions of experience. These evolving patterns suggest the rhythms, relationships, and energetic currents that connect us, inviting quiet contemplation of the deeper order that exists beneath everyday perception.
Built through layers of acrylic, tissue paper collage, and mixed media, Patterns of Being #2 balances intuitive mark-making with a quietly structured composition. The repeating geometric forms emerged naturally as the painting developed, later revealing an resemblance with the infinity sign that has become a recurring element in my work. Rich surface textures, luminous color relationships, and the generous 24" × 36" scale give the painting both visual impact and a sense of stillness, making it equally compelling as a standalone piece or partnered with Patterns of Being #1.
